A unique approach to community well-being
Wallaby Indigenous Corporation's programs stand apart through a unique combination of cultural embeddedness, a strength-based approach, and a deep connection to the land. Our holistic, Indigenous-led initiatives ensure a culturally safe and empowering environment for healing and growth.
Culturally embedded programs
Our programs integrate Indigenous knowledge, cultural practices, and family connections, fostering a sense of belonging and cultural pride. We ensure cultural protocols are followed and create a culturally safe environment for all participants.
Strengths-based and long-term focus
We build upon existing community strengths, working collaboratively to create a solid foundation for lasting change. Our long-term focus adapts to local needs and acknowledges the importance of balance within the community. Partnership with local businesses and support agencies is key to our success.
Beyond the ordinary
Our Business is growing with the introduction of Waratah Program, which was introduced in 2025 dealing with Domestic and Family Violence and working alongside our clients, we provide a service that is Culturally Appropriate through face to face, over the phone. We have introduced Walkabout Aunty, with 2 Elders visiting our clients within the Tablelands, Mid North Coast, and as far away as Sydney. The work we do amongst our Mob and Non-Indigenous is vital to establish a connection with them and also building up service providers.
